Aladdin for android

Aladdin is an excellent version of the strangely popular NES game, but it's bogged down with ads. While they don't interfere with the game too much, they will annoy you as they invade your phone. However, if this game means enough to you to skip them, you'll enjoy an experience just like you did in the early 1990s.
This is one of three games bearing the Aladdin name, so make sure it's the one you want before you spend time on it. It's the Gameboy port of the Nintendo original, so it doesn't play the same as the Sega or SNES games. In this one, you jump, run, and chuck weapons -- mostly apples, just like in the movie, but there are some upgrades -- as you move closer and closer to rescuing your princess. Interestingly, the game's main screen lets you choose the game from a menu, which is behavior that you'd expect from a universal emulator, not one that only plays one game. Trying to choose the "more games" menu made the app crash, though. While you're in the game, you can snap a screenshot, share your progress with friends, and save to an online server. Sadly, this game features a nasty ad suite that will try to put ads all over your phone's browser and search.
If you had this game on your Gameboy or NES, you'll feel right at home with this ROM. While the ads are annoying, they're relatively easy to avoid and won't bother you too much if you know how to dodge them. Even if you don't, this immensely popular game is worth trying at least once.
